A RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ASSESSING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED 1N PALM
PARK ADDITION TO CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, HAVING A
POST OFP'ICE ADDRESS OF 1016 GREENWOOD AVENUE,
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED MORE
PARTICULARLY HEREIN, IN THE AMOLJNT OF $243.00 FOR
'TI-� COSTS INCURRED BY THE CITY ORDERING TE�
OWNER TO DEMOLISH A DANGEROUS STRUCTURE.
WI�REAS, pursuant to Chapter 47 of the Clearwater Code of Ordinances and the Standard
�uilding Code, the Building Official deternuned that certain real property described herein and the
building situated thereon were unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for human habitation, and dangerous and
detrimental to the health, safety, and general welfare of the community, and did not comply with the
requirements of said Code before expenses were incurred; and
WI-IEREAS, the City of Cleanvater and the owner have caused the demolition of the unsafe
building; and the City's costs o£ such work should now be assessed as a lien on behalf of the City of

Clearwater against the property; now, therefore,

CLEAIZWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Building Official having ordered the demolition of the unsafe building situated
on the following described property:
The South 50 feet of the Bast 100 feet of Lot 32, less right-of-way, Palm Park
Addition to Clearwater
(Parcel Number 10/29/15/6571 �/000/0325).

and the City of Clearwater having now completed said work, the City Commission does hereby assess
and charge a lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against the property for the necessary costs
incurred as follows:
TOTAL DEMQLITION COSTS $243.00
(See Attachment "A")
Section 2. As soon as practicable, a Certificate of Indebtedness against the property for the
amount of assessment shall be prepared, which certificate shall constitute a lien prior to all other liens
except the lien for taxes. Said certificate, when issued, shall be payable to the City with interest at a
rate of eight percent (8%) per ann�:m.
Section 3. The City C(erk is hereby directed to prepare a Notice of Lien in the amount of the
assessment against said properh�, and to record the same in the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
