TO CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, HAVING A POST OFFICE
ADDRESS OF 1406 N. GREFNWOOD AVENUE,
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED MORE

OWNER TO ABATE A DANGEROUS STRUCTURE.
VVHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 47 oi the Clearwater Code of Ordinances and the Standard
Building Code, the Building Official deternuned that certain real property described herein and the
building situatetl thereon were unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for human habitation, and dangerous and
detrimental to the health, safety, and aeneral welfaze of the community, and did not comply with the
requirements of said Code befare expenses were incurred; and
WI�REAS, the City af Clearwater and the owner have caused the abatement of the unsafe
building, and the City's costs of such work should now be assessed as a lien on behalf of the City of
Clearwater against the property; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMII�IISSION OF TFiE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA;
Section 1. The Buildin� Official having ordered the abatement of the unsafe building situated
on the following described property:
Lots 5 and 6, Block 1, Ccu�ter, �ionaker $c I�are's Lincoln Place Addition to Clearwater,
FIorida
(Parcel Number 10/29/15/S 1948/001/0050 ).

and the City of Clearwater having now completed said work, the City Commission does hereby assess
and charge a lien on behalf of the City of Ciearwater against the property for the necessary costs
incurred as follows:
TOTAL COSTS $432.00
(See Attachment "A") �
5ection 2. As soon as practicable, a Certificate of Indebtedness against the property for the
amount of assessment shall be prepared, which certificate shall constitute a lien prior to all other liens
except �the lien for taxes. Said certificate, when issued, shall be payable to the City with interest at a
rate of eight percent (�%) per annum.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a Notice of Lien in the amount of the
assessment against said property, and to record the same in the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
