A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A NEW SCHEDULE OF FEES
TO BE CHARGED FOR APPLICATIONS FOR REVIEW OF LAND USE
PLAN AND ZONING ATLAS AMENDMENTS; RESCINDING
RESOLUTION 94 -26, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO SUCH FEES;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, administrative review is required for land use plan and zoning atlas
amendments; and
WHEREAS, the City incurs direct and indirect expenses for such reviews; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to establish a schedule of fees to fully defray such
expenses but in such a manner as to reflect City economic development goals; and
WHEREAS, the City's Land Use Plan has been found to be consistent with the Countywide Plan
and, thereby, the County's Plan in the incorporated areas within the City's Planning Service Area;
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds it necessary to adopt a new schedule of fees as set forth
herein in order to defray said expenses but in such a manner as to reflect City economic development
goals; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. There is hereby established the following fees and charges relating to review
and processing of site plans, annexation requests, land use plan and zoning atlas amendments and
subdivision plats, conditional uses, variances, appeals, continuances and concurrency reviews:
A. Site Plan Review:
(1) Base charge for each site plan $250.00; plus
(a) For each acre, or fraction thereof ............... 50.00
(2) Revalidation of a Certified Site Plan ............ 1 150.00
(3) Site Plan Amendment (After Certification) ........... 150.00
(4) Transfer of Development Rights
(a) With Formal Site Plan Review ................. 150.00
(b) Without Formal Site Plan Review ............... 350.00
B. Subdivision Plat Review: 7r�
