A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
RESCINDING RESOLUTION 93 -46 AND NAMING CERTAIN PROPERTY
SHOWN AS "PARK" ON THE PLAZA PARK SUBDIVISION PLAT, AS
"PLAZA PARK," AND A NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AREA WHICH
WILL BE LOCATED IN THE PARK AS "LAMAR O'BYRON FORD
MEMORIAL PLAYGROUND;" PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of two parcels of real property located on
Pennsylvania Avenue, between Jones and Plaza Streets, which are used as a mini -
park with playground equipment for young children; and
WHEREAS, the North Greenwood Association, Inc., and the Drew and Plaza Park
Homeowners Association, Inc., have approved and recommended that said property
be named "Plaza Park," and that a new playground apparatus area to be located in
the park be named "Lamar O'Byron Ford Memorial Playground;" and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to formally name the park and
playground apparatus area in accord with recommendations of the two associations;
now, therefore,
