A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A NEW SCHEDULE OF FEES
TO BE CHARGED FOR APPLICATIONS FOR REVIEW OF SITE PLANS,
SUBDIVISION PLATS, ANNEXATION REQUESTS, LAND USE PLAN
AND ZONING ATLAS AMENDMENTS, CONDITIONAL USES,
VARIANCES, APPEALS TO HEARING OFFICERS AND CERTAIN
CONTINUANCES; RESCINDING RESOLUTION 91 -35 RELATING TO
SUCH FEES.
WHEREAS, administrative review is required for site plans, subdivision plats, annexation
requests, land use plan and zoning atlas amendments, requests for conditional use and variances,
appeals and continuances, and concurrency review; and
WHEREAS, the City incurs direct and indirect expenses for such reviews; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to establish a schedule of fees to fully defray such
expenses; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds it necessary to adopt a new schedule of fees as set forth
herein in order to fully defray said expenses; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. There is hereby established the following fees and charges relating to review
and processing of site plans, annexation requests, land use plan and zoning atlas amendments and
subdivision plats, conditional uses, variances, appeals, continuances and concurrency reviews:
A. Site Plan Review:
(1) Base charge for each site plan ....................... $790.00; plus
(a) For each acre, or fraction thereof ..................... 55.00
(2) Revalidation of a Certified Site Plan .................... 150.00
(3) Site Plan Amendment (After Certification) ................. 150.00
(4) Transfer of Development Rights
(a) With Formal Site Plan Review ....................... 150.00
(b) Without Formal Site Plan Review .................... 350.00
B. Subdivision Plat Review:
(1) Base charge for each preliminary
subdivision plat $890.00; plus 11
(a) For each lot included on the plan ................. 30.00
(2) Revalidation if a Certified Preliminary
Subdivision Plat ............................... 55.00
(3) Subdivision Plat Amendment (After
Certification, Prior to Recording) .................... 55.00

or annexation and initial zoning designation (including an
individual existing or proposed single - family dwelling
