A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
DEDICATING A 6 -FOOT DRAINAGE EASEMENT ACROSS A CITY -
OWNED PARCEL OF PROPERTY ON SAND KEY, FROM THE RIGHT OF
WAY OF GULF BOULEVARD SOUTHEASTERLY TO THE WATERS OF
CLEARWATER HARBOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE TO
PINELLAS COUNTY OF A 10 -FOOT TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION
EASEMENT PARALLEL TO THE DRAINAGE EASEMENT ON ITS
NORTHEAST SIDE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is necessary and for a proper public purpose to dedicate a
portion of City -owned property, described herein, as a drainage easement in order
for Pinellas County to implement drainage improvements related to the widening
of Gulf Boulevard, and to authorize the conveyance to Pinellas County of a
temporary construction easement parallel to the drainage easement; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following property is hereby dedicated as a drainage
easement for use by the general public, Pinellas County and the City of
Clearwater as their interests may appear:
See Exhibit A
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute on behalf of the City
of Clearwater a temporary construction easement in the form attached as Exhibit
B over the property described in Exhibit C with Pinellas County to facilitate the
drainage improvements for the Gulf Boulevard widening, said easement to expire
upon completion of the road construction.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to record this resolution in
the public records of Pinellas County, Florida.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.

thence proceed North 01 °44132" East along the West line of said Section 20,
4182.26 feet to the East right -of -way of Gulf Boulevard, a 100.0 -foot right -of-
way; thence proceed North 42013131" East along said East right -of -way, 2152.77
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, also being the Northwest corner of the
Subdivision of Radisson Bayside Hotel, as recorded in Plat Book 101, Page 35, of
the public records of Pinellas County, Florida; thence proceed South 47 °46'29"
East, 195.07 feet; thence North 42 °13131" East, 6.00 feet; thence North 47046'29"
West, 195.07 feet to the Easterly right -of -way of said Gulf Boulevard; thence
South 42 013131" West, 6.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Together with any portions of land lying Southeasterly of said drainage easement
created by extending both the Northerly and Southerly lines of said easement

Florida 34618 -4748, does hereby grant, bargain, release and convey unto
PINELLAS COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, ATTN:
Engineering - Right of Way Division, with offices located at 440 Court Street,
Clearwater, Florida 34616, a temporary construction easement on and over the
following described 'property, lying in the County of Pinellas, State of
Florida, to wit:
