This Amendment made and entered into this ) c7 day of O.rGr\ 2016, by and
between PINELLAS COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, hereinafter referred to as
"COUNTY ", and the City of Clearwater, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "CITY ".
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the CITY entered into an interlocal agreement for Countywide
ATMS /ITS Traffic Signal on May 18, 2006, (hereinafter "Agreement ") pursuant to which the COUNTY
assumed certain operation and maintenance responsibilities with regard to certain traffic signals within
the jurisdiction of the CITY; and
WHEREAS, Section 9 of the Agreement provides for an unlimited number of ten (10) year
extensions under the same terms and conditions; and
WHEREAS, the County and the City now wish to exercise this first extension;
NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree that the Agreement is extended as follows:
1. The Agreement is hereby extended pursuant to Section 9 thereof, effective beginning
May 18, 2016, and continuing for ten (10) years from that date unless terminated or canceled as provided
therein.
2. Except as changed or modified herein, all provisions and conditions of the original
Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
