The revised Pelican Walk parking garage is coming up for review I believe to the CDB on August 18th and, if
recommended for approval, will be heard at the City Council meeting on August 20tH
Please convey my support for this much need parking on the Beach to the Mayor, City Council and CDB members. As a
resident of Island Estates and the Chief Operating Officer of CMA, I can categorically state that additional parking will
relieve some of the traffic congestion on the Causeway and the Beach. Our beach has become a prized and sought after
destination and with more than 1,200 new hotel rooms being built on the Beach, traffic will only get worse if there is not
additional parking alternatives.
