AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF
PALM STREET, CONSISTING OF WEST 67 FEET OF LOTS 5, 6,
7, & 8, BLOCK A, CLEARDUN SUBDIVISION, INCLUDING
.ABUTTING RIGHT -OF -WAY OF DOUGLAS AVENUE, WHOSE
POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 2077 DOUGLAS AVENUE, INTO
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID
ADDITION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owner of the real property described herein and depicted on the map
attached hereto as Exhibit A has petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the property into the
City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the City has complied with all applicable
requirements of Florida law in connection with this ordinance; now, therefore,

REc Section 1. The following- described property is hereby annexed into the City of Clearwater
FEES - and the boundary lines of the City are redefined accordingly:

PTG The West 67 feet of Lots 5, 6, 7, and 8, Block "A ", Cleardun Subdivision,
PAC according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 13, Page 47,
floc public records of Pinellas County, FL together with abutting right -of -way
TOTAL —� of Douglas Avenue. (A96 -14)
Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be consistent
with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Commission hereby accepts the
dedication of all easements, parks, rights -of -way and other dedications to the public which have
heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed property. The City Engineer, the
City Cleric and the Central Permitting Director are directed to include and show the property
described herein upon the official maps and records of the City.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption. The City Clerk
�? s shall fide certified copies of this ordinance, including the map attached hereto, with the Clerk of the
M Circuit Court and with the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after
