Economic Development Coordinator Diane Hufford called the meeting to order at 6:14
p.m. at the Greenwood Community Health Center, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
To provide continuity for research, items are in agenda order although not
necessarily discussed in that order.

a. Approval of Minutes of Previous Meeting (June 23,2004)
No action taken due to lack of quorum.
b. Discuss next meeting May 18, August 17, and November 16 and locations
Staff will schedule future meetings throughout the community beginning at 6:00 p.m.
6- Governor Bush Award to Willa Carson: presentation bv Greenwood Community Health
Resource Center
Ms. Hufford congratulated Member Willa Carson for receiving the Points of Light Award
from Governor Bush for her exemplary service to the community.
7 - Staff Report - 7th Annual State Brownfields Conference - People's Choice and Crowd
Pleaser
Ms. Hufford reviewed the background of the Greenwood Community Health Resource
Center site, purchased by the City with State Brownfields funds.

Greenwood Community Health Resource Center representative Dee Dee Martin
reviewed the facility's purpose and history.
Poster Contest
Ms. Hufford said at last October's State Brownfields Conference, Clearwater's poster
received the "Crowd Pleaser"and the "People's Choice" award.
Mediterranean Village Site
Ms. Hufford said the City is waiting for final clearance from the State on acceptable
arsenic levels at the Mediterranean Village Site before construction can begin.
Junkyard Site
Ms. Hufford said the former owner of Clearwater Automotive will be vacating the site at
205 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in October 2005.
