AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES
LOCATED GENERALLY EAST OF KINGS HIGHWAY AND
WEST OF NORTH HIGHLAND AVENUE, NORTH OF
PALMETTO STREET AND SOUTH OF SUNSET POINT
ROAD, CONSISTING OF PORTIONS OF SECTION 02
TOWNSHIP 29 N, RANGE 15 E, WHOSE POST OFFICE
ADDRESSES ARE 1452 GROVE CIRCLE COURT, 1473
GROVE CIRCLE COURT, 1479 GROVE CIRCLE COURT,
ALL IN CLEARWATER, FLORIDA 33755, INTO THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID
ADDITIONS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of the real properties described herein and depicted on the
map attached hereto as Exhibit B has petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the
properties into the City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the City has
complied with all applicable requirements of Florida law in connection with this ordinance;
now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following- described properties are hereby annexed into the City of
Clearwater and the boundary lines of the City are redefined accordingly:
See attached Exhibit A for legal descriptions
(ANX2014- 07013)
The map attached as Exhibit B is hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be
consistent with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Council hereby
accepts the dedication of all easements, parks, rights -of -way and other dedications to the
public, which have heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed
property. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning and Development Director
are directed to include and show the property described herein upon the official maps and
records of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption. The City
Clerk shall file certified copies of this ordinance, including the map attached hereto, with
the Clerk of the Circuit Court and with the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida,
within 7 days after adoption, and shall file a certified copy with the Florida Department of
State within 30 days after adoption.
