The applicant is requesting annexation in order to receive solid waste service from the City, and will connect to City sewer when it is available in the future, as part of the City's Idlewild/The Mall Septic -to -Sewer Project. The property is contiguous to existing City boundaries to the west and to the south. It is proposed that the property be assigned a Future Land Use Map designation of Residential Urban (RU) and a Zoning Atlas designation of Low Medium Density Residential (LMDR). Collection of solid waste will be provided to the property by the City.
