The design of the free - standing monument sign is intended to be just that, a sign to notify customers of the location of this facility for first time users. And to use the Gas division's distinctive logo as a landmark rather than excessive copy. The materials for the sign are in keeping with the City's typical new projects and will act as an additional visual reference. The copy on the canopy is a simple description of the purpose of the facility and is designed to alert the public of a new alternate fuel source. The unique shape of the canopy is to provide an additional landmark and to be distinctive from the typical gas dispensing facilities box -like canopies. 2. There are no free standing signs other than the monument sign and the copy and logo on the main canopy. The height of the canopy and the graphics are dictated by the anticipated vehicle heights and are required to be greater than 14'.
