AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED GENERALLY EAST OF US 19 AND WEST OF EL
TRINIDAD DRIVE, NORTH OF STATE ROAD 590 AND
SOUTH OF SUNSET POINT ROAD (STATE ROAD 576),
CONSISTING OF PORTIONS OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP
29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, WHOSE POST OFFICE
ADDRESSES ARE 2723/2725 SOUTH DRIVE, 2741 SOUTH
DRIVE, 2738 WOODRING DRIVE, 2709 WOODRING DRIVE,
2700 MORNINGSIDE DRIVE, 2715 MORNINGSIDE DRIVE,
2718 TERRACE DRIVE AND 1752 EVANS DRIVE, 1813
CARLTON DRIVE, ALL IN CLEARWATER, FLORIDA 33759,
TOGETHER WITH CERTAIN RIGHT OF WAYS OF: SOUTH
DRIVE, WOODRING DRIVE, MORNINGSIDE DRIVE,
EVANS DRIVE AND TERRACE DRIVE, INTO THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID
ADDITION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of the real properties described herein and depicted on the
maps attached hereto as Exhibits B and C have petitioned the City of Clearwater to
annex the properties into the City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the
City has complied with all applicable requirements of Florida law in connection with this
ordinance; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following- described properties are hereby annexed into the City of
Clearwater and the boundary lines of the City are redefined accordingly:

(ATA2014- 05002)
The maps attached as Exhibit B and C is hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be
consistent with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Council hereby
accepts the dedication of all easements, parks, rights -of -way and other dedications to the
public, which have heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed
property. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning and Development Director
are directed to include and show the property described herein upon the official maps and
records of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption. The City
Clerk shall file certified copies of this ordinance, including the map attached hereto, with
the Clerk of the Circuit Court and with the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida,

within 7 days after adoption, and shall file a certified copy with the Florida Department of
State within 30 days after adoption.
