Goudeau Brenda Moses City Manager Assistant City Manager City Attorney CRA Executive Director City Clerk Board Reporter The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. at City Hall. To provide continuity for research, items are in agenda order although not necessarily discussed in that order. Approval of Minutes Trustee Jonson moved to approve the minutes of the July 18, 2005, meeting, as recorded and submitted in written summation by the City Clerk to each Trustee. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously. 1. Accept title to the 2317.46 square-foot portion of the former south half riaht-of-wav of Park Street Ivina within the plat of Mediterranean Villaae in the Park. Tract 2. vacated bv City Ordinance #6879-01 and declared surplus and transferred to the CRA bv the City of Clearwater on Auaust 4.2005. On November 15, 2001, the Clearwater City Commission adopted Ordinance #6879-01 that vacated portions of the rights of way of Ewing Avenue, Park Street, and Pierce Street. Title to subject portion of the vacated south right of way of Park Street vested in the City as a result of the vacation. The City of Clearwater declared this parcel surplus on August 4, 2005 and has deeded the parcel to the CRA to facilitate the CRA conveying marketable title to Mediterranean Village, LLC as described in the Agreement for Development and Disposition of Property dated July 3, 2002. CRA staff is preparing to close on the property for Stage II of Mediterranean Village in the Park and this parcel is necessary to convey the entirety of the property for Stage II to the Developer. A sketch and legal description of the parcel, and a locator map of Tract 2 of the Village is attached for reference. Community Redevelopment Agency 2005-08-15 1 . Trustee Petersen moved to accept title to the 2317.46 square-foot portion of the former south half right-of-way of Park Street lying within the plat of Mediterranean Village in the Park, Tract 2, vacated by City Ordinance #6879-01 and declared surplus and transferred to the CRA by the City of Clearwater on August 4,2005. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously. 2. Other Business Referring to the Acqua project, Trustee Jonson believes the contemporary design of the building to be inconsistent with the downtown design guidelines. 3.
