07/18/1988 TRUSTEES OF THE EMPLOYEES' PENSION FUND MEETING July 18, 1988 The City Commission, meeting as the Board of Trustees of the Employees Pension Fund, met in regular session at the City Hall, Monday, July 18, 1988, at 9:03 a.m., with the following members present: Rita Garvey Mayor/Commissioner Lee Regulski Commissioner William Nunamaker Commissioner Absent: James Berfield Vice-Mayor/Commissioner Don Winner Commissioner Also Present were: Ron H.Rabun City Manager M. A. Galbraith, Jr. City Attorney Cynthia E. Goudeau City Clerk ITEM #2 - Minutes: Commissioner Nunamaker moved to approve the minutes of the July 5, 1988, meeting. Motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously. ITEM #3 - Request for Acceptance into Membership: The City Manager presented the recommendation of the Advisory Committee to approve membership for five (5) employees listed below: Name Classification Department William Kunzman Parking Enf. Officer Police James Hill Communications Tech. CS/Motor Pool Robert Lillico San. Heavy Equip. Oper. Util./Sanitation Jeffrey Gifford Library Asst. I Libraries Dawn Spano Library Asst. II Libraries Commissioner Regulski moved to accept the recommendation of the Advisory Committee. Motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously. ITEM #4 - Request for widow's pension: The City Manager presented the recommendation of the Advisory Committee, General Employees' Pension Fund that the individual listed below be granted a regular pension under Section 26.36 and/or 26.37 of the Employees' Pension Plan. Brenda Ward, Widow of William T. Ward, Police Officer, Police Department, effective June 24, 1988, as an amount to be calculated at a later date. Commissioner Regulski moved to accept the recommendation of the Advisory Committee. Motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously. ITEM #5 - Other Business: None ITEM #6 - Adjournment: 9:05 a.m.
