May 2, 1988
The City Commission, meeting as the Board of Trustees of the Employees Pension Fund, met in regular session at the City Hall, Monday, May 2, 1988, at 9:10 a.m., with the following
members present:

ITEM #2 Minutes Commissioner Winner moved to approve the minutes of the April 18, 1988, meeting. `Motion` was duly seconded and `carried` unanimously.
ITEM #3 Request for Acceptance into Membership
The City Manager presented the recommendation of the Advisory Committee to approve membership for (8) eight employees listed below:

Commissioner Winner moved to accept the recommendation of the Advisory Committee. `Motion` was duly seconded and `carried` unanimously.
ITEM #4 Denial of Membership
The City Manager presented the recommendation of the Advisory Committee to deny membership based on physician's findings for (1) one employee listed below:

Commissioner Winner moved to accept the recommendation of the Advisory Committee to deny membership. `Motion` was duly seconded and `carried` unanimously.
ITEM #5 Request for Pension
The City Manager presented the recommendation of the Advisory Committee, General Employees' Pension Fund that the individual(s) listed below be granted a widow's pension under Section
26.36 and/or 26.37 of the Employees' Pension Plan.
Ella Mae Dixon, widow of Lenard K. Dixon (Gas Distribution Pipefitter, Gas Division), in the amount of $1,298.46 per month, effective 7/20/87.
This matter came before the Trustees in August, 1987, but was continued until such time as a determination could be made as to who was legally entitled to this pension benefit, Mrs.
Ella Mae Dixon or Ocie Triggs, Lenard Dixon's first wife. A settlement agreement has been reached between Ocie Triggs and Ella Mae Dixon. Per this agreement, Ocie Triggs will receive
a lump sum payment of $1,000.00 and Ella Mae Dixon will receive the remainder of the pension benefits.
Commissioner Regulski moved to accept the recommendation of the Advisory Committee. `Motion` was duly seconded and `carried` unanimously.
Patricia Moore, widow of Allen Moore (Police Sergeant, Police Department), effective April 8, 1988, in an amount to be determined at a later date.
Commissioner Winner moved to accept the recommendation of the Advisory Committee. `Motion` was duly seconded and `carried` unanimously.
