being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood). This document amends the effective NFIP map to remove the subject property from
the SFHA located on the effective NFIP map; therefore, the Federal mandatory flood insurance requirement does not apply. However, the
lender has the option to continue the flood insurance requirement to protect its financial risk on the loan. A Preferred Risk Policy (PRP) is
available for buildings located outside the SFHA. Information about the PRP and how one can apply is enclosed.
This determination is based on the flood data presently available. The enclosed documents provide additional information regarding this

North Wind Resource Partners (NWRP) is the MT -1 Processing Services provider for the Federal
Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)
regulations (Sections 65.9 and 70.6) require that copies of MT -1 determinations be distributed
to the Community Map Repository, and you have been receiving these copies in paper form in
weekly or monthly batch mailings. Because all MT -1 determinations are stored digitally on
FEMA's Map Service Center (MSC) website (http://msc.fema.gov/portal), and in an effort to
increase efficiency and reduce the use of paper, NWRP will no longer be providing hard copy
mailings to communities beginning August 6, 2018.

MT -1 determinations are typically posted within 2-3 weeks of the issue date. Users can obtain

MSC SUBSCRIPTION
The MSC provided a free subscription service that delivers email notifications regarding newly
posted flood mapping products. Subscriptions are free of charge and may be created, edited,
or discontinued at any time. In addition, a user may create multiple subscriptions to satisfy the
need to monitor various products or geographic locations. This tool provides a quick and easy
way for interested parties to learn when new mapping products are made available for their
