This Second Option of Renewal Agreement, made and entered into this ~ day pf

Florida, (hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY"), and the City of Clearwater, Florida, a municipal
corporation (hereinafter referred to as "CITY").
WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the CITY entered into a three (3) year Agreement in
November, 2002 for the collection, maintenance, processing and marketing services for the
COUNTY'S Recycling Collection Centers, and
WHEREAS, this Agreement provides for two (2) 12-month options of renewal at the
same terms and conditions as the original Agreement with price increases not to exceed the
Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers Index, or 4%, whichever is less, and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the CITY wish to exercise this second and final option of
renewal for said services at the current maximum 4% CPI increase,
NOW, THEREFORE, the COUNTY and the CITY, in consideration of the mutual
covenants hereinafter set forth, agree that all provisions of the original Agreement shall remain
in full force and effect except as modified herein.
1. Section 6. Compensation and Revenue Share.
6.1 Collection: The COUNTY shall compensate the CITY for its collection services on
a per container basis. For each recycling container emptied by the CITY, the COUNTY
shall pay the CITY as follows:
(a) Roll-off Container
(b) 8-Cubic Yard Container
(c) Adding or removing a 30 C.Y. Container
(d) Adding or removing an 8 C.Y. Container
( e) Overtime Rate

6.2 Container Maintenance. For providing the services described in Section 5.3 of the
Agreement, the COUNTY shall compensate the City as follows:

primer, and 2 coats of blue paint)

2. Appendix A of the Agreement has been modified to reflect the current collection center
locations, number of containers and schedules.
3. Appendix B of the Agreement has been modified to reflect the current COUNTY and
CITY contact personnel.
4. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement remain in full force and effect.
