Dear Mr. Banten:
This letter constitutes a Development Order pursuant to Section 4-202.E of the Community
Development Code. On June 24, 2004, the Planning Staff reviewed your Comprehensive Sign Program
(CSP). This proposal is a request to increase the number and area of attached signs from one sign of 24
square feet to two signs. Along the east elevation of the main building, a 91.5 square foot sign of
channel letters is proposed and is 4.0 percent of the east facade. It will read "Washington Mutual"
(illuminated) in Blue letters on an exposed raceway. Along the north elevation of the main building, a
31.5 square foot sign of channel letters is proposed and is 1.5 percent of the east facade. It will read
"Washington Mutual" (illuminated) in Blue letters on an exposed raceway. The Washington Mutual
logo ("W") is to be installed to the left of the channel letters of both signs.
The Comprehensive Sign Program has been approved. The approval is based on, and must be
consistent with, the site plans, elevations and drawings dated received May 21, 2004 with revisions
dated received June 18, and 24,2004, subject to the following conditions:
Conditions of Approval:
1. That the panel on the freestanding sign (located on McMullen Booth Rd) have a white background;
2. That all other Code requirements/restrictions of Division 18 (Signs) be met, including but not
limited, to grand opening banners, window, temporary, construction, sale/leasing signs, etc; and
3. That the raceway be painted to match the color of the building.
Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one (1) year of the
date of this Development Order (July 1, 2005). All required building approvals shall be obtained
within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the initial building permit. Permitted time frames do not
change with successive owners.

Dear Mr. Banten:
This letter constitutes a Development Order pursuant to Section 4-202.E of the Community
Development Code. On June 24, 2004, the Planning Staff reviewed your Comprehensive Sign Program
(CSP). This proposal is a request to increase the number and area of attached signs from one sign of 24
square feet to two signs. Along the east elevation of the main building, a 91.5 square foot sign of
channel letters is proposed and is 4.0 percent of the east facade. It will read "Washington Mutual"
(illuminated) in Blue letters on an exposed raceway. Along the north elevation of the main building, a
31.5 square foot sign of channel letters is proposed and is 1.5 percent of the east facade. It will read
"Washington Mutual" (illuminated) in Blue letters on an exposed raceway. The Washington Mutual
logo ("W") is to be installed to the left of the channel letters of both signs.
The Comprehensive Sign Program has been approved. The approval is based on, and must be
consistent with, the site plans, elevations and drawings dated received May 21, 2004 with revisions
dated received June 18, and 24,2004, subject to the following conditions:
Conditions of Approval:
1. That the panel on the freestanding sign (located on McMullen Booth Rd) have a white background;
2. That all other Code requirements/restrictions of Division 18 (Signs) be met, including but not
limited, to grand opening banners, window, temporary, construction, sale/leasing signs, etc; and
3. That the raceway be painted to match the color of the building.
Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one (1) year of the
date of this Development Order (July 1, 2005). All required building approvals shall be obtained
within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the initial building permit. Permitted time frames do not
change with successive owners.
