materials and colors which reflect an integrated architectural vocabulary for the parcel proposed for development.

SIGN PERMIT SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Site Plan with the following items:
(a) Location of the sign in relation to property lines, public rights-of-way, easements, buildings, and other signs on the property including dimensions.
(Freestanding signs must be a minimum of five (5) feet from any property line.)

(c) Inventory of all existina sians on the same property and/or building on which the sign is to be located, indicating the number, type, use e.g. property

(d) Maximum and minimum height of the sign, as measured from finished grade;
(e) Dimensions of the sign's supporting members;
(f) For illuminated signs, the type, placement, intensity and hours of illumination. (Not more than five (5) foot-candles of light intensity for commercial signs.);
(g) A Notarized statement of Authorization signed by the Lessor consenting to the sign placement;
(h) Dimensions and elevations (including the message and color(s)) of the sign; and
(i) Construction and electrical specifications, for the purpose of enabling determination that the sign meets all applicable structural and electrical requirements
of the Building and National Electric Codes. (Indicate if UL rated.)
*AII applications for signs shall include detail drawings showing how the sign is to be constructed and secured. All signs greater than
32 square feet in size shall have structural drawing signed and sealed by licensed Florida engineer or architect.
ALSO, please note that wind load requirements should conform to the 1991 edition of the Southern Standard Building Code.

Development Order regarding case SGN2002-04005 at 2751 Sunset Point Road
(St. Matthias Lutheran Church)
RE:
Dear Mr. Whitehust:
On April 8, 2002, the Planning Staff reviewed your application for a Comprehensive Sign
Program (CSP) to replace an existing, 40 square foot, freestanding sign 11 feet in height
with a sign will 32 square feet in area and six feet in height. The sign will read "Saint
Matthias Lutheran Church" in white letters on a black background with logo and four
rows of six-inch changeable readerboad below.
The application for the Comprehensive Sign Program has been APPROVED for the
signs as submitted (see attached) with following conditions:
1. That all existing signs, not included in this application, be removed or brought into
compliance with Code prior to the issuance of any permits;
2. That a sign inspection, to be requested by the applicant, be performed by Staff to
verify removal of all nonconforming signs prior to the issuance of any permits; and
3. That a landscape plan, which provides 12 square feet of landscaping around the base
of the freestanding sign, be submitted prior to issuance of a permit, and that any
landscaping be installed prior to final inspection of the sign.
Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one
(1) year of the date of this Development Order (April 19, 2003). All required building
approvals shall be obtained within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the initial
building permit. Permitted time frames do not change with successive owners.
