RE: Development Order regarding case SGN2002-05002 at 100 Island Way (First
National Bank)
Dear Mr. Creenan:
On June 26, 2002, the Planning Staff reviewed your application for a Comprehensive Sign
Program (CSP) to replace an existing 48 square foot freestanding sign. The proposed
monument style sign will be placed in the same location at the southeast comer of the
parcel. It will read "FIRST NATIONAL BANK" in blue letters on a routed aluminum
panel with a red, white, and blue logo. The total sign area will be 28.3 square feet (3.74%
of fa<;ade) and 5.5 feet tall. The application for the Comprehensive Sign Program has been
APPROVED for the freestanding sign as submitted on May 15, 2002 with the following
conditions:
1. That the property address number be added to the sign base, three square feet in
size; and
2. That the sign be erected in a landscaped .1rea of at least 12 square feet.
Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one
(1) year of the date of this Development Order (June 28, 2003). All required building
approvals shall be obtained within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the initial
building permit. Permitted time frames do not change with successive owners.
Please be aware that the issuance of this Development Order does not relieve you of the
necessity to obtain any building permits or pay any fees that may be required. In order to
facilitate the issuance of any permit or license affected by this approval, please bring a copy
