The revision includes a change in the width of the sign on the front (east) elevation from 31'-0" to 33'-9". The overall size of the sign is slightly larger (262 square feet to 268.84 square feet). The sign on the west elevation has a decrease in area from 146 square feet to 113.85 square feet. These changes are reflected on your revised elevations (sheet AS-9) dated October 29,2002 (received November 5,2002). The original Development Order was approved on September 24, 2002 as part of a master signage plan with an increase in the area and number of attached and freestanding signs for all tenants within the redeveloped Clearwater Mall site, currently under construction. That approval is based on and must be consistent with the site plan and elevation plans dated received September 18, 2002 (with amendments received September 19, 2002 - sheets AS-I, AS-6, AS-7, AS-8). All previously imposed conditions shall be applied to this approval, including: 1. That all existing, attached signs and freestanding signs, not otherwise approved as part of this application, be removed prior to the issuance of any permits for freestanding signs; 2. That all attached signs be designed with individual, channel letters (no raceway mount, cabinet or other design); 3. That addresses be added to freestanding signs (non-directional), in accord with Section 3- 1805.S; 4. That the white, horizontal band/line behind the "Ross" sign be deleted from the north elevation on sheet AS-6; BRIAN]. That all freestanding sign panels be designed with a white background, except for the Lowe's tenant panel (or tenants replacing Lowe's to occupy building "B") on signs Al and C4; 7. That signage for all future tenants, including those not currently specified under this application, or any changes to signs included herein, be consistent with the overall theme of the center, including but not limited to size, location, design, material, color, etc. and be submitted to Planning Staff for approval prior to issuance of any permits (or prior to installation should a permit not be required); and 8. That all other Code requirements/restrictions of Division 18 (Signs) be met, including but not limited, to grand opening banners, window, temporary, construction, sale/leasing signs, etc. S:\Planning Departmenf\C D B\Comp Sign Prog\US Hwy 19 MUS Hwy 19 N 20505 Clearwater Mallvnichaels minor amendement.doc . 10/31/02 0~3P P.001 Lyman Davidson Dooley, Inc.
