2. Height. The maximum height of all signs proposed in a Comprehensive Sign Program is twelve (12) feet provided,
however, that a single attached sign with a sign face of no more than twelve (12) square feet may be erected up to the
height of the principal building.

lighting is tumed off when the business is closed.

4. Total Area of Sign Faces. The total area of sign faces which are proposed as a part of a Comprehensive Sign Program

In addition. are we talkin y about th 16.22 uare feet including the s uare footage of the base?
Remember, the base can be up to _ '() of the sq.ft. of the sign. Anything additional counts
towards signage. In other words, if vou're allowed 20 square feet (based on one percent of the
fa<;ade of the building facing the street). the sqJt. of the base cannot exceed 10 sq.ft. That means
that the total sq.ft. of the monument sign including base would be a total of 30 sq.ft.
Whateyer the minimum signage you're allowed, double it. If you're allowed 20 sq.ft. you'd
double it to 40 sq.ft. That would giye you 20 sq.ft. for the base or a total of 60 sq.ft. for base and
sign. Naturally, you can't exceed whateyer signage you're allowed - in other words yOU can't
take from the amount of base permitted and tack that onto your sign face.
On the sign permit application - list. somewhere, the square footage of the fayade of the base,
too.

(Freestanding signs must be a minimum of five (5) feet from any property line.)
