RE: Development Order regarding case SGN208J 81B20 at 1550 McMullen Booth
Road (Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts Specialists)
Dear Ms. Streety:
On January 31, 2003, the Planning Staff reviewed your application for a Comprehensive
Sign Program to increase the number and area of attached signs from Minimum
Development Standards of one sign of 24 square feet to two signs of 68.75 square feet
each totaling 137.5 square feet. Each sign will include yellow, channel letters which will
read "AUTO PARTS" with a raceway painted to match the color of the building and a
cabinet sign which will read "BUMPER TO BUMPER AUTO PARTS SPECIALISTS"
in white letters on a black and red background attached to the east and north (2.7 percent
and four percent, respectively, of the building facades to which they will be attached)
fa~ades of the building. The cabinet portion of the signs constitutes 17.25 square feet of
the overall area of each sign. The signs will replace two existing attached signs of
approximately 68.75 square feet each. The application for the Comprehensive Sign
Program has been approved for the signs as submitted.
Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one
(1) year of the date of this Development Order (February 5, 2004). All required building
approvals shall be obtained within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the initial
building permit. Permitted time frames do not change with successive owners.
The issuance of this Development Order does not relieve you of the necessity to obtain
any building permits or pay any fees that may be required. In order to facilitate the
issuance of any permit or license affected by this approval, please bring a copy of this
letter with you when applying for any permits or licenses that require this prior
development approval.
