The intent of the Comprehensive Sign Program is to provide private property owners and busine'$es with
flexibility to develop innovative, creative and effective slgnsge and to Improve the aesthetics of the City of
Clearwater. 8ignage which Is proposed as part of a Comprehensive Sign Program may deviate from the
minimum sign standards In terms of numbers of sign. per businesS or parcel of lafld, maximum area of sign
face per parcel of land and the total area of sign face. per busine.. or parcel, subject to compliance with the
following Flexibility Criteria. The use of site plane, 88ction.,.levatlons, renderings and perspective. may
neClllary as supp18mentary information in addition to the information provided on this worksheet:
1. Architecturali Theme.
8. The signs proposed in a comprehensive Sign Program shall be designed as 8 part of the architectural theme
of the prIncipal buildings proposed or developed on the parcel propo$ed for the development and shall be
construcled of materials and colors which reflect an integrated architectural vocabulary for the parcel
