Dear Mr. Mastos:
On April 17, 2002, the Planning Staff reviewed your application for a Comprehensive
Sign Program (CSP) to increase the area of a permitted attached sign from 10 square feet
to 20 square feet. The sign will read "American Eagle Dry Cleaners" and will be
attached to the south fagade (existing mansard roof) along Cleveland Street as part of a
sign cabinet/awning. The sign will have blue letters on a white background with red
striping. The application for the Comprehensive Sign Program has been approved for the
attached sign as submitted (see attached) with the following conditions:
1. That the illumination of the sign cabinet/awning be limited to the letters only;
2. That the sign cabinet/awning not extend horizontally or vertically beyond the existing
mansard roof; and
3. That the ends of the sign cabinet/awning be enclosed.
Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one
(1) year of the date of this Development Order (April 17,2003). All required building
approvals shall be obtained within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the initial
building permit. Permitted time frames do not change with successive owners.
