Dear Mr. Whitehurst:
On November 19, 2001, the Planning Staff reviewed your application for a
Comprehensive Sign Program (CSP) to increase the area of two permitted freestanding
signs from 22.56 square feet to 38.66 square feet. One of the signs will read
"ADDITIONAL PARKING - Staack, Simms & Hernandez, P A" and will be 6.66 square
feet in area. It will be located on the northwest comer of Drew Street and Vine Street.
The other sign will read "ATTORNEYS - Staack, Simms & Hernandez, P A, Real Estate
- Personal Injury - Family Law". Three separate tenant spaces will be located on the sign
as well. The sign will be 32 square feet and located on the northeast comer of Drew and
Vine Streets. Both signs will have a green background, yellow trim and white letters.
The application for the Comprehensive Sign Program has been approved for the
freestanding signs as submitted. One attached sign is proposed on the west elevation of
the building. It will be 4.5 square feet and will read "LAW OFFICES - Staack, Simms &
Hernandez, P A". It will utilize the same colors as the freestanding signs.
Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one
(1) year of the date of this Development Order (November 19, 2002). All required
building approvals shall be obtained within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the
initial building permit. Permitted time frames do not change with successive owners.
