Dear Mr. Lima:
On October 9, 2001, the Planning Staff approved your application for a Comprehensive
Sign Program (CSP) to permit an increase in the area and number of attached signs from
one attached sign of 21.37 square feet to two attached signs of 21.37 square feet each
with a total of 42.74 square feet. On October 14, 2002, the Planning Staff reviewed a
revised application for a Comprehensive Sign Program (CSP) to permit an increase in the
area and number of attached signs from one attached sign of 26.40 square feet (one
percent of the building fac;ade facing the street frontage from which the property is
addressed) to two attached signs of 63.75 square feet totaling 127.5 square feet (4.82
percent of the building fac;ade facing the street from which the building is addressed).
Each sign will read "TIRES PLUS TOTAL CAR CARE" in internally illuminated, red
channel letters. The signs will be installed as a raceway that will match the color of the
building. One sign each will be attached to the south (facing Countryside Boulevard) and
west facades. Two existing, attached signs on the south and west facades will be
removed with this proposal. The application for the Comprehensive Sign Program has
been approved for the sign as submitted (attached) with the following conditions:
1. That the existing attached signs be removed prior to the final inspection of the
installation of first attached sign;
2. That the fac;ade of the building be repainted/repaired subsequent to removing the
existing attached signs and prior to installation of any new signs; and
3. That all other requirements of Section 3-1801 of the Code be met.

(1) year of the date of this Development Order (October 18, 2003). All required building
approvals shall be obtained within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the initial
building permit. Permitted time frames do not change with successive owners.
Please be aware that the issuance of this Development Order does not relieve you of the
necessity to obtain any building permits or pay any fees that may be required. In order to
facilitate the issuance of any permit or license affected by this approval, please bring a
copy of this letter with you when applying for any permits or licenses that require this
prior development approval.
