SIGN PERMIT APPLICATION
SIGN PERMIT SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Site Plan with the following items:
(a) Location of the sign in relation to property lines, public rights-of-way, easements, buildings. and other signs on the property including dimensions.
(Freestanding signs must be a minimum of five (5) feet from any property line.)
(b) Lot frontage on all street rights-of-way.
ADDITIONAL SIGN PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
(c) Inventory of all existina sians on the same property and/or building on which the sign is to be located, indicating the number, type, use e.g. property
Identllcatlon, business identification, etc.) location and surface area. (If "none", so indicate);
(d) MIIximum and minimum height of the sign, as measured from finished grade;
(e) Dimensions of the sign's supporting members;
(f) For illuminated signs, the type, placement, intensity and hours of illumination. (Not more than five (5) foot-candles of light intensity for commercial signs.);
(g) A Notarized ststement of Authorization signed by the Le.sor con.entlng to the sign placement;
(h) Dimensions and elevations (including the message and color(s)) of the sign; and
(I) Construction and electrical specifications, for the purpose of enabling determination that the sign meets all applicable structural and electrical requirements
of the Building and Nalional Electric Codes. (Indicate if UL rated.)
*AII applications for signs shall include detail drawings showing how the sign is to be constructed and secured. All signs greater than
32 lIquare feet in.size shall have structural drawing signed and sealed by licensed Florida engineer or architect.

On January 25, 2001, the Planning Staff reviewed your application for a Comprehensive Sign
Program (CSP) to increase the area of a permitted attached sign from 10 square feet to 20 square
feet. The sign will read "TOM & JERRY BEAUTY SUPPLY VERIZON WIRELESS
AUTHORIZED RETAILER PAY ALL YOUR BILLS HERE: IFP" and will be attached to the
east fa~ade along North Fort Harrison. The sign will have BLACK and red letters on a white
background. The application for the Comprehensive Sign Program has been approved for the
attached sign.
Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one (1) year
of the date of this Development Order (February 15, 2003). All required building approvals shall
be obtained within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the initial building permit. Permitted
time frames do not change with successive owners.
Please be aware that the issuance of this Development Order does not relieve you of the necessity
to obtain any building permits or pay any fees that may be required. In order to facilitate the
issuance of any permit or license affected by this approval, please bring a copy of this letter with
you when applying for any permits or licenses that require this prior development approval.
