`COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING`
July 7, 1988
The City Commission, met as the Community Redevelopment Agency at the City Hall, Thursday, July 7, 1988, at 6:01 p.m., with the following members present:
Rita Garvey Mayor/Commissioner
James Berfield Vice Mayor/Commissioner
Lee Regulski Commissioner
Don Winner Commissioner
William Nunamaker Commissioner
Also Present were:
Ron H. Rabun City Manager
Milton A. Galbraith, Jr. City Attorney
Cynthia Goudeau City Clerk
ITEM #2 Minutes Commissioner Regulski moved to approve the minutes of the June 16, 1988, meeting. `Motion` was duly seconded and `carried` unanimously.
ITEM #3 Consent to Assignment of Clearwater Square Agreements
Maria Real Estate, Inc. is in the process of selling Clearwater Square to Mack Clearwater Limited Partnership and it is necessary to assign all municipal agreements over to Mack Clearwater
Limited Partnership. These agreements include: 1) a Development Agreement dated 7/14/83 with the City and the Clearwater Redevelopment Agency; 2) a lease of a portion of the parking
garage owned by the Agency; and 3) Maria Real Estate's interest under all other parking agreements, developer agreements, municipal agreements, or other agreements including a Maintenance
and Operation Agreement for the Park Street Garage between the City and Maria Real Estate dated 11/11/86.
Commissioner Winner moved to Consent to Assignment of Clearwater Square Agreements to Mack Clearwater Limited Partnership. `Motion` was duly seconded and `carried` unanimously.
ITEM:
Joseph R. McFate, Planning and Urban Development Director, requested direction regarding the lessee of the Bilgore Property being able to sublease a portion of the building without
Community Redevelopment Agency approval.
It was stated that as long as the lessee does not assign a portion, in effect releasing them from their oblication to the City, Community Redevelopment Agency approval is not necessary.
