WRITTEN SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS: (Code Section 3-1807.C) Sign;;Jge proposed as part of a Comprehensive Sign Program may deviate from the minimum sign standards in terms of numbers of signs per business or parcel of land, maximum area of sign face per parcel of land and the total area of sign faces per business or parcel of land, subject to compliance with the flexibility criteria outlined below. Monument signs, pursuant to Sections 3-1806.B.1.g and 3-1806B.2 shall not be eligible for this program. As part of the program, all sign types (freestanding, attached, windows, interior site directional, etc.) shall be reviewed for the business and/or the development parcel to achieve compliance in so far as possible with these current regulations. A master sign program for shopping centers, including all out parcels, and office complexes shall include all types of signs for all tenants/uses within the development parcel. These will be reviewed as a Comprehensive Sign Program application. All existing and proposed signs must be architecturally integrated into the design of the building and/or site using similar and coordinated design and style features, materials and colors. etc. Attached signs shall be horizontally and vertically proportionately located on each fa9ade with no protrusions above roof lines. over windows. trim. cornices or other building features. o Provide complete responses to the COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PROGRAM CRITERIA including how the criteria are met: 1. Architectural Theme. The design, character, location and/or materials of all freestandinq and attached signs proposed in a comprehensive sign program shall be demonstrably more attractive than signs otherwise permitted on the parcel proposed for development under the minimum signs standards. Any lighting proposed as a part of a Comprehensive Sign Program is automatically controlled so that the lighting is turned off when the business is closed. Total Area of Sign Faces. Height. Area, Number and Location of Signs. The height, area, number and location of siQns permitted through the comprehe..' We propose to remove both detached and attached signage and replace with new signage with the new Ford corporate criteria. New sign square footage will be less than existing sign square footage. There are three (3) primary buildings on the property that we would like to install attached signage. US HWY 19 is the primary frontage that we will calculate for the detached and attached signage. The three (3) buildings that we will use to calculate square footage for signage are: (I) Showroom, sales, with service department attached; (2) Used Car Sales Building; (3) Collision Center Building. (I) Showroom Building is 23'2" in height and 120' in length: 2,760 square feet. Service Department is 24'3" in height by 136' in length: 3,298 square feet. (2) Used Car Building is 24' high by 63' on front elevation: 1,512 square feet Side street elevation is 24' high by 93' in length : 2,232 square feet. (3) Collision Center is 23'9" high by 80' in length: 1,900 square feet. Total of the (3) buildings square footage proposed for signage: 11,702 square feet. The total square footage for all proposed and existing signage..... .. 594 square feet. We propose to replace all the detached signs with new signs. There are three (3) existing detached signs. (I) Main identification sign is 6' high x 19' wide totaling: 114 square feet. We would like to remove the cabinet and install a new oval cabinet totaling 100 square feet. A new pole cover and base cover would be installed on this detached sign. The copy will be "FORD" (2) Pre-Owned detached sign is 6' high x 12' wide totaling 72 square feet. We propose to remove total sign and support and install new "Pre-Owned" sign including footer.Square footage of this sign is 60 square feet. This sign will be located directly adjacent the existing sign. (3) "Ford Trucks" sign is 4' high x 8' wide totaling 32 square feet. We propose to remove this sign completely. We propose to install new monument detached sign reading "Ford Trucks" on north end of property.
