Dear Mr. Petys:
On May 22, 2003, the Planning Staff reviewed your application for a Comprehensive Sign Program to
enable signage as follows:
1. Attached Sign, 73.75 square feet and 1.14 percent of the building fayade,
2. Existing Freestanding Sign, 147.65 square feet to remain, and
3. A Freestanding seven square foot sign, totaling 154.65 square feet of Freestanding signage where
a maximum of 178 square feet may be requested.
The attached sign will read "RADISSON" and is to be located on the fayade facing US Highway 19. All
of the attached signage to be contour/channelletter signs. Intemallighting is to be controlled by a timer
to shut off during the daytime. Regarding the attached sign, if letters are on a raceway, the raceway needs
to match the building where it is attached.
The new seven square foot monument sign is to be located within the southeast comer of the site, at the
southerly entrance facing US Highway 19. The location of the monument sign is to be in accordance
with City of Clearwater Codes for setbacks and sight triangles. The sign will be a maximum of 3.16 feet
in height. The sign will read "RADISSON" within the top half of the sign space. The bottom half
message of the sign space is for direction with the word "ENTRANCE" and an arrow. The existing
freestanding sign will also have a three square foot number added for the street address number. The
street numbers will be white and located below the existing reader board.
The application for the Comprehensive Sign Program has been approved for the signs as submitted (see
attached).

Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one (1) year of the
date of this Development Order (May 22, 2004). All required building approvals shall be obtained
within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the initial building permit. Permitted time frames do not
change with successive owners.
The issuance of this Development Order does not relieve you of the necessity to obtain any building
permits or pay any fees that may be required. In order to facilitate the issuance of any permit or license
affected by this approval, please bring a copy of this letter with you when applying for any permits or
licenses that require this prior development approval.

of the attached signage to be contour/channelletter signs. Internal lighting is to be controlled by a timer
to shut off during the daytime. Regarding the attached sign, if letters are on a raceway, the raceway needs
to match the building where it is attached.
The new seven square foot monument sign is to be located within the southeast comer of the site, at the
southerly entrance facing US Highway 19. The location of the monument sign is to be in accordance
with City of Clearwater Codes for setbacks and sight triangles. The sign will be a maximum of3.l6 feet
in height. The sign will read "RADISSON" within the top half of the sign space. The bottom half
message of the sign space is for direction with the word "ENTRANCE" and an arrow. The existing
freestanding sign will also have a three square foot number added for the street address number. The
street numbers will be white and located below the existing reader board.
The application for the Comprehensive Sign Program has been approved for the signs as submitted (see
attached).

Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one (1) year of the
date of this Development Order (May 22, 2004). All required building approvals shall be obtained
within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the initial building permit. Permitted time frames do not
change with successive owners.
The issuance of this Development Order does not relieve you of the necessity to obtain any building
permits or pay any fees that may be required. In order to facilitate the issuance of any permit or license
affected by this approval, please bring a copy of this letter with you when applying for any permits or
licenses that require this prior development approval.
