Dear Mister Parry:
Please find attached plan revisions for this project.We have prepared three
additional plan sets reflecting revisions based on your comments. We hope you
find them to be sufficient.
Comment - sign photos not dimensioned. We have indicated dimensions of all
signs, existing and proposed, and building dimensions.
Comment - Freestanding sign must be H = W X 1.5, max. ht. - 14'0".We have
substituted a monument sign proposal, 7'0"w X 10'O"h, mounted on
existing foundation.
Comment - Wall signs, as face replacement, must be both equal or less square
footage AND equal or less dimensionally. We have substituted simple
replacement of the plastic faces.
Comment - ATM sign does not need to be addressed, exempt machinery sign.
WE have removed the A TM from proposal.
We have revised the permit application to reflect this changed scope of
work.

Dear Mr. Chawk:
On March 5, 2002, the Planning Staff reviewed your application for a Comprehensive
Sign Program (CSP) to replace two existing, attached signs and one freestanding at the
SunTrust Bank at Countryside Square (formally Huntington Banks). Each sign will be
replaced in the same location and on the same fa~ades (for the attached signs) with signs
of equal area.
The following list reflects the size and location of all signs to be replaced and the size of
the replacement signs:
Attached Signs:
1. Two, 40 square foot signs located on the east (along the interior of the
Countryside Square shopping center and generally Countryside Boulevard) and
west (U.S. Highway 19 North) fa~ades which read "HUNTINGTON BANKS"
with logo each to be replaced with a 40 square foot sign on the same fa<;ades and
locations to read "SUNTRUST ATM BANKING" in white letters on a blue
background.

Freestanding:
1. One 50 square foot sign, 20 feet in height located at the southwest comer of the
site along U.S. Highway 19 North which reads "HUNTINGTON BANKS" with
logo to be replaced with a 50 square foot monument sign 10 feet in height which
will read "SUNTRUST*SUNTRUST*SUNTRUST*ATM BANKING" with the
first "Suntrust" in white letters and each subsequent "Suntrust" in progressively
darker blue letters on a blue background. "A TM BANKING" will have blue
lettering.
The application for the Comprehensive Sign Program has been APPROVED for the
signs as submitted (see attached) with following conditions:
1. That all existing signs, not included in this application, be removed or brought into
compliance with Code prior to the issuance of any permits;
2. That a sign inspection, to be requested by the applicant, be performed by Staff to
verify removal of all nonconforming signs prior to the issuance of any permits; and
3. That a landscape plan, which provides 12 square feet of landscaping around the base
of the freestanding sign, be submitted prior to issuance of a permit, and that any
landscaping be installed prior to final inspection of the sign.
Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one
(1) year of the date of this Development Order (March 15, 2003). All required building
approvals shall be obtained within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the initial
building permit. Permitted time frames do not change with successive owners.
Please be aware that the issuance of this Development Order does not relieve you of the
necessity to obtain any building permits or pay any fees that may be required. In order to
facilitate the issuance of any permit or license affected by this approval, please bring a
copy of this letter with you when applying for any permits or licenses that require this
prior development approval.

None of the signs. existing or proposed. attached or freestanding are dimensioned so I cannot
confirm any measurements.
The freestanding sign will need to be brought into compliance with Code in regards to height -
1.5 times the width of the sign or 14 feet. whichever is less.
The compo Sign. Prog. Information and sign pelmit app. Data can be picked up for correction at
your convenience and have been left with greeter at the front counter.
