By then Tracey will be back and we can finalize the cost/benefit analysis. We do have the revenue analysis for the three options as well as a site layout but not the total cost/benefit analysis.. Instead we would like to ask for a discussion on the faith of the Ped bridge to the beach(mini sky bridge).... since the MPO meeting is today and we are holding on to the item to award the contract for utility relocation. Please direct. Thanks Mahshid D. Arasteh, P.E. Mahshid has clarified for me that we do not intend to transfer, sell, donate or lease the property. I believe that the proposed uses (parking garage, library, fire station) could be accomplished either through possibly leaving the existing LUP and zoning in place and applying for compo infill or changing the LUP designation and rezoning to Institutional as Mike Quillen appears to be suggesting. But I would defer to Michael Delk on that. Was there something else you were concerned about that I have missed? -----Original Message----- From: Dunbar, Kevin E. Such recreation/open space property may be leased for an existing use, without referendum, unless such is otherwise prohibited by charter or ordinance. m--Original Message--m From: Arasteh, Mahshid Sent: Monday, May 09, 2005 5:28 PM To: Brumback, Garry; Horne, William; Akin, Pam; Geer, Jamie; Delk, Michael; Wilson, Tina; Dort, Kathy 1 1--- Cc: Bruch, Tracey; Quillen, Michael; Dunbar, Kevin E.; Mahony, Thomas Subject: FW: North Beach Parking Garage All, these are the three alternatives Mike, Tracey and I identified per the discussions we had in the last meeting on Rockaway parking garage site. The information does not ref/ect the expenses associated with each alternative. The discussion before the commission could be on space allocation and location only. We are preparing a CAD drawing for each alternative. Also, Mike had expressed that OSR can be rezoned to institutional without a referendum. Please let me know if you agree with these alternatives and if we need to meet prior to the work session of May 16. Thanks Mahshid D. Arasteh, P.E.
