3. EVENT INFORMATION:
A. Event Description and purpose: The Sparkling Clean-later Depression Glass
Club annual show and sale will be a two d~y pvpnt hplrl ~t
Harbor View Center. We will feature glass, china and pottery
made In the United States from 1928 thru 1960.
B. Primary Objective of the Event:Educate the public as to history and
preservation of glass/china/pottery and provide opportunity
to purchase.
C. Primary Benefits to the Citizens ofCleaIWater: Brinqs people from around
the country to downtown Clearwater, benefiting local restaurants
and motels. This is the only event of its kind on the West Coast of
Floric.a.
D. Has this event been held in the past? X yes no

How will these grant funds expand this event? Enable us to expand our advertis

5. GRANT REQUEST (Funds)

B. Describe in detail what these funds will be used for: Note: Exhibit I lists available
City services.
These funds will be used for additional advertising. part of
rental and Harbor View expenses. To have additional quests
who are people versed in either glass, china or pottery which
helps acquaint the public and qive them a knowledge of qlass,
china and pottery.

6. MATCHING FUNDS REQUIREMENT
A. Describe in detail the source of matching funds which must be at least 50% of the
grant request (in-kind and/or cash with a minimum of one-half in cash) and how
the funds will be used:
Our matching fund will be the Club money located in our bank
account. We have designated $3750. as our matching fund. All
funds will be used to pay expenses of puttinq on a large show
such as ours.
