EVENT INFORMATION: A. Event Description and purpose: The Taste of Clearwater vlOuld be an evenin event that features a number of services providing samples of their menu's. B. Primary Objective of the Event: To provide an opportunity for Countryside and surrounding residents to build communit s irit and ex erience restaurants from the Countryside and Clearwater area. C. Primary Benefits to the Citizens of Clearwater: It provides an opportunity to get toqether and build communitv soirit. D. Has this event been held in the past? yes If so, when? Where? Location(s) of planned event: Countryside Mall or Northwoods Plaza (final selection not made) G. Anticipated number of attendees: 1650 H. Target Audience (age group, ethnic diversity, geographic reach): Broad mix of adults and outh from North Pinellas Count 1. Whq will be managing this event and what are their qualifications (attach resume if applicable): Bob Carollo & Nancy Kinney. Bob has over 20 vears in. IBM sales/marketing mgmt. Nancy has significant background in Real ~state sales 1. What other organizations will be involved in this event: Clearwater Chamber of of Commerce (North area) may be involved. K. Our plan is to solicit another non-profit partner to participate and broaden interest. We also are approaching the Clearwater Chamber North Area to assist with promotion. There are a number of high school organizations seeking fund raisers for school projects We hope to involve one of them We expect rotary members to solicit sponsors. Once we decide on Countryside Mall or Northwoods Plaza, we expect their involvement and participation Additionally, we will provide a mailing to generate pre-registration ticket sales By having the event in a business center, we expect to capitalize on local traffic With our event 12 months away, we have time to further develop our marketing plan. - ROTARY OF COUNTRYSIDE, INC.
