\~O~ ~~o\\ eY OlD \ LQ f 0.0 PSTA 3201 Scherer Drive St. Petersburg, FL 33716 The residents of the Bayway Blvd. area Clearwater, FL 33767 December 14, 2005 Weare writing to complain about the noise and engine exhaust problem that started with the route change of the sUncoast Trolley on Sunday December 4,2005. The new route has made Bayway Blvd. at Parkway Dr. a layover stop. The trolley's engine creates a severe noise problem, especially in the early morning hours. Additionally, Bayway is a narrow street; the stopped trolleys create a traffic impediment and have taken away the limited parking space that is available in the area. There are alternatives for the layover Trolley stop: Since the Marriot Hotel does not allow the trolley to use their parking facilities, there is a city parking area in Sand Key across from the Ultimar buildings that has several parking spaces, the trolley can use two or three of them. Another alternative is south Gulfview Blvd., the road is wider and is more appropriate since the starting point and destination of almost 99% of the Trolley's passengers is Gulfview Blvd. Weare requesting that the layover stop of the Suncoast trolley be moved to a more appropriate location.
