The Chair called the meeting to order at 1 :43 p.m. at City Hall.
To provide continuity for research, items are in agenda order although not
necessarily discussed in that order.
Approval of Minutes - April 17, 2006
. Trustee Jonson moved to approve the minutes of the April 17, 2006, meeting, as
recorded and submitted in written summation by the City Clerk to each Trustee. The motion
was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
Pension Trustee Items
1. Accept the emolovee list provided into membership in the City of Clearwater's Employees'
Pension Plan.
The PAC (Pension Advisory Committee) recommended employees be accepted into
membership in the City of Clearwater's Employees' Pension Plan: Catherine Boyer, Heather
Petsch, Sean Becker, Dana Clayton, Justin Dilkes Barnett, Adam Mittler, Michelle A. Moore,
Jason Rath, Lauren Tarsi, Nori Basco, Jarvis McCree, and Dustin Dean.
Trustee Petersen moved to accept the recommendation of the Pension Advisory
Committee. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
2) Andrea Rainey, Police Department: Greoory HoldinQ, Fire Department: and Raymond Juno,
Police Department. be oranted reoular pensions under Section(s) 2.393 and 2.397 of the
Employees' Pension Plan as approved by the Pension Advisory Committee.
Andrea Rainey, Police Information Technician II, Police Department, was employed by
the City on March 11, 1991, and her pension service credit is effective on May 6, 1991. Her

. pension will be effective April 1 ,2006. Based on an average salary of approximately $52,817
per year over the past five years, the formula for computing regular pensions, and Ms. Rainey's
selection of the Joint & Survivor Annuity, this pension will approximate $21,642 annually.
Gregory Holding, Fire Medic, Fire Department, was employed by the City on April 6,
1986, and his pension service credit is effective on that date. His pension will be effective May
1, 2006. Based on an average salary of approximately $82,482 per year over the past five
years, the formula for computing regular pensions, and Mr. Holding's selection of the 100%
Joint & Survivor Annuity, this pension will approximate $44,730 annually.
Raymond Jung, Police Officer, Police Department, was employed by the City on June 6,
1988, and his pension service credit is effective on that date. His pension will be effective June
1,2006. Based on an average salary of approximately $67,372 per year over the past five
years, the formula for computing regular pensions, and Mr. Jung's selection of the 100% Joint &
Survivor Annuity, this pension will approximate $32,740 annually.
Trustee Doran moved that Andrea Rainey, Police Department; Gregory Holding, Fire
Department; and Raymond Jung, Police Department, be granted regular pensions under
Sections 2.393 and 2.397 of the Employees' Pension Plan as approved by the Pension
Advisory Committee. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
