02/11/1993 OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE APPEAL TO THE CITY MANAGER by George Rejrat, Highpoint Pawn and Loan February 11, 1993 - 3:00 p.m. Present: Kathy S. Rice, Deputy City Manager M. A. Galbraith, Jr., City Attorney Vic Chodora, Building Official Camille Motley, Central Records Specialist Also Present: George Rejrat, Appellant Mr. Louis Kwall, Esquire, Representing Appellant Issue: Revocation of Occupational License based on City of Clearwater Code of Ordinances Chapter 71.12 (e)(i)a. 157911. Control # Kathy S. Rice, Deputy City Manager, called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m., and witnesses were sworn in by Sue Diana, Assistant City Clerk. In response to a question by the Deputy City Manager as to what action initiated the revocation of the license, Mr. Chodora stated he had a letter from Lt. Paul Masser, dated 8/26/92. Mr. Galbraith asked if the occupational license was issued for 1992 to 1993 and then revoked, or was it never issued at all. Mr. Chodora stated that it was issued pending the police report and then a letter was sent revoking the license. Mr. Galbraith stated that based on City Code a City Commission action would be needed to revoke a license after it has been granted. Ms. Rice stated she would to make her findings based on Mr. Galbraith's opinion she would put them in writing. The meeting adjourned at 3:35 p.m.. mah0293 1 02/11/93
