My name is Philip Stock, and I am writing this letter for Mr. Gary Tave in regards
to the site located at 1573 South Washington Avenue in Clearwater, Florida.
Mr. Tave hired and trusted me to handle the survey work needed for this project
and to insure that the building was laid out correctly. There is no amicable excuse for my
mistake; I simply overlooked tha--crucial—measurements of the porch when I prepared
the site plan that was used for the building stake-out.
The porch extends six (6.0) feet off the front of the building toward the property
line, and has now been laid out into the building setback (6.0 feet) as shown in our tie-in
survey. The front of the porch (currently a concrete slab) now sits 19.1 feet from the front
property line (shown on survey).
As the owner of Target Land Surveying, Inc., I would like to extend my sincerest
apology for this mistake, and the direct delay it has caused the entire project. We will be
sure to see that this does not happen again.
Your understanding and cooperation in alleviating the damage done to the
timeframe of this project would be greatly appreciated. I want nothing more than to see
this project move forwazd, and will do what I can on my part to see that happen.
