I am writing in connectiQn with the Flexible Development of Island Way Tower, LLC, which I understand
is currentiy being determined.
As a permanent resident of 301 Island Way, Unit A, located on the north side of 223 Island Way, I wish
to register a strong objection and oppose the following development of Island Way Tower, LLC:
- Proposed dumpster location. The section of the landscape and site plans show that the location of the
proposed dumpster enciosure will be located on the northwest side of 223 Island Way. The location of
the dumpster enclosure will be located directly behind my townhome residence of 301 island Way, Unit
A. The dumpster wili cause a large amount of noise for my residence, as well as create extra pollution
and unpleasant odors. Furthermore, having a dumps#er behind my residence will create health hazards
with unwanted pests and rodents in the area as well as creating an eyesore for my residence.
- Proposed Stormwater Treatment Retention Pond. The section of the landscape and site plans show
that the location of the proposed stormwater treatment retention pond will be located on the
northwest side of 223 Island Way. Pollutants in the stormwater treatment retention pond will run off
and saturate the ground around my property. Also, the retention pond will bring an unwanted increase
in mosquito population.
- Proposed car ports. The sect+on of the landscape and site pians show the location of car ports on the
north side of 2231s1and Way. Cars parked in the proposed car ports will be located directly behind #he
townhomes of 301 Island Way. Cars wiil bring extra noise behind the townhomes and during evening
hours car lights wili shine directly into the townhomes of 3Q1 Island Way.
In clasing; I am opposed to the development of this site. I trust that my comments, explanations, and
reasons will be taken into account accordingly. The developers of Island Way Tower, LLC, have not fully
considered or assessed the issues the development will cause the residents of 301 Island Way (Pelican
Port).

In closing, I am opposed to the development of this site. I trust that my comments,
