FLORIDA, RELATING TO THE SCHEDULE FOR
STORMWAT'ER UTILITY RATES; AMENDING APPENDIX
A, ARTICLE XXV PUBLIC WORKS--FEES, RATES AND
CHARGES SECTION (3)(e) STORMWATER
MANAGEMENT UTILITY RATES, C LEAR'WATER CODE

Section 1. ,Appendix A, Article XXV, PUBLIC WORKS--FEES, RATES AND
CHARGES, Section 3)(e) Storrmwwater Management utility Fates, Clearwater Cede of
Ordinances, is am6nded as follows.
(3) Rates:
(e) Stormwwater management utility rates. The stormwater management utility rates
shell be based upon': the revenue requirements for the construction,
administration, management, engineering, operation and maintenance of the
starrmvmater management system, and the adopted capital improvement program
funding.needs of the system. For the purposes of these rates, the terms shall I
have the meanings set forth in section 32.2-42 or, if not defined it� section
32.242, in sections 02.002 or 1.02.
1. Basic rate. The rate eta r month for one equivalent residential unit or ERLI

. Nonresidential property fees. Nonresidential property shah be charged on
the basis of the impervious area of the property in accordance with the
following formula:
Impervious area (sq. ft.) divided by 1,830 sq. ft. ® Number of ERUI's. A
II..Iini1num value of 1.0 ERR shall be :assigned to each nonresidential
property. The impervious area of each nonresidential property shall be as
determ0ned by the city engineer. ERU's shall be rounded to the nearest
erne-tenth of a unit.
Undeve.loped property. Stormwater rnarpagement utility fees shall not be
levied against undeveloped property pursuant to this article.
Section Z This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.;
