Drew Street, Suite 205 Clearwater, FL 34025 Re: Campus Walk Landscape Rcinspection Dear Mr. Maxon: POST OFFICE BOX 4748 CLEARWATER, FLORIDA 34618 -4748 As requested, this letter is to confirm the landscape replacement requirements on the subject site, specifically the shrub requirement along the south property line. The west 400 feet of the Campus Walk south property line is adjacent to residential zoning. The landscape code in effect when the site landscape plan was approved (April 1987) required a five foot. landscape buffer between commercial and residential zoned properties. I have attached a copy of the pertinent section of this code. This buffer is to contain an unbroken screen of shrubs. These shrubs were shown on the landscape plan which was approved as part of the site building permit. It is my understanding that there is a 200 foot section where there are no shrubs and question as to whether the shrubs were in place at the time of the Certificate of Occupancy inspection. As with any portion of the City Building or Land-Development Code, whether the shrubs were in place or not at the time of the inspection does not eliminate the requirement for them to be installed. Consequently the code deficiencies as identified in the reinspection report must be corrected. In order to allow time for installation of the required material, I am extending the compliance date to October 1, 1993.
