As chairman of the Architectural Control Committee I would like to request the assistance of your office in developing this beautification program. Of course, one of our biggest concerns is the erosion around the pond. We are interested in planting trees, bushes and any other type of vegetation that may help stabilize the shoreline of the pond. Any guidelines that your office could supply us with would be greatly appreciated. Another concern of the association is the addition of more trees to the rest of the property. Since the homeowners own their own lot, we were wondering if the city had any programs to help the homeowners or the asso- ciation add trees to their property at a reduced cost. A final concern of ours' is the removal of trees on the property that are unwanted or are potentially damaging to the buildings. Information about the city's tree ordinances or any similar information would be of great value to us. It is our hope that the Environmental Management Agency can make available to our homeowners association the information requested. If this agency does not possess this information could you please direct us towards the appropriate agency.
