Myrtle Ave. Clearwater, FL 33756 Re: 700 Cleveland /Scott Mortgage Landscape Plan Dear Mr. & Mrs. Chinchar: I have reviewed the April 2005 (MIS2005- 04002) approved landscape plan for your site and determined that the plan's intent to create a landscape buffer can now be met with the City's streetscape project right of way plantings. This will allow the removal of the half circle planting area near the Cleveland Street/East Avenue intersection. Other benefits include the creation of a safe and attractive pedestrian environment as envisioned by the Downtown Redevelopment Plan. In a traditional downtown setting, build -to or setbacks to buildings are reduced making streetscape landscaping common to provide needed shade and green space. As properties in the downtown redevelop or transition to different uses parking to the rear of the site will be encouraged so the need for interior parking landscape areas will no longer be necessary and we will not require you to re- establish this landscape area. A date stamped approved copy of the revision will be retained in the address landscape file along with a copy of this letter.
