C,onwiling 700 Cantarhunl Road cleanxter, iYnrida 33764 k r. NO A`l 0 2002 Ll -- ; %ter r'• A- r. :. Ci I have visited the, site„ of the proposed Coachman RJOAa GGm►erczssi Tract and placed whitQL marking ribbon on all trees which in my opinion should be saved. This was done in the area described by you and which shown on the Landscape Plan as not in any building or parking and /or otherwise developed areas. (The enclosed Landscape Plan shows the areas with tree locations marked in red ink) . Insofar as proposed grade changes are concerned, I do not feel that any of the changes indicated will impact the existing and /or remaining trees and will not neceasitate any root pruning or aeration processes. There are several tree locations for which proposed construction wi.l ncossi.te eevese root pruning on one or two sides. Trees # 23, 21, 26, 60, 62, 63, 67, 106, 55 are in this category, but it is my belief that the percentage of root* affected in each case will not necessitate any precautions other than manual root Pruning of the affected soot areas prior to any construction work. All trees located in any activity area.of the project will be protected by a barrier located in such. a Max as to protect the active root zone as designated by. the Consulting or Certified Arbori.st. The barrier will consist of (1) a reusable plastic safety fence (4' high, safety orange) , supported by fiberglass or metal fence pouts, or (2) 2" x 411 wood boards supported on post, firmly anchored 1n the ground. it is suggested that the following notice be included in a Notice To The Contractor: "Failure to observe the limiting zone of the barriers by any person employed directly or indirectly by the General contractor will result in a fine of $100.00 per day until INC. .: FAX N0. :6138541723 K",-t. 23 2002 08:33RM P3 J J damage caused by the UtrggigU bas been aorreCted to the -satisfaction of the Consulting or Certigied Arboriat. Any; tree damaged by the action of others in violation of the barrier protection will be repaired or replaced in accordance with the r+aconWeAded estimate for such activity by the Consulting or certified Arborist. r' Tbank you for your interest in these recommendations.
