The City of Clearwater Public Works Administration, Urban Forestry Division has completed its inspection
at your site. The site is in noncompliance with the landscape ordinance and landscape plan submitted by

REQUIREMENTS: Install or repair irrigation system as to preserve the required landscaping in a healthy
growing condition. Cover all exposed landscape areas with mulch or other suitable material which
permits percolation. Remove all dead, declining, or diseased plant material in the north buffer and
replace with (2) shade trees (min 8ft. 2 inch caliper), (22) shrubs (min. 18 inches in height ) , Interior
plantings require (2) shade trees (min 8ft, 2 inch caliper), and (16) shrubs (min. 18 inches in height),
Florida grade #1 minimum. The replacement trees and shrubs will be installed per the approved plan
locations. Landscaping shall be maintained in a healthy growing condition so as to present a neat and
orderly appearance and kept free of refuse and debris.
COMPLIANCE DATE: 06106198
To insure compliance, a reinspection of the site will be conducted after the above compliance date.
Failure to correct the requirements by the compliance date will result in the issuance of a "NOTICE OF
VIOLATION ".

and 1 tree on the north side of the fence. Fill any voids in the oleander hedge,
check irrigation system for function, mulch and maintain in a neat and orderly
manner.

The City of Clearwater has initiated a landscape reinspection program which will affect all sites with
approved landscape plans filed with the City of Clearwater. This courtesy letter is to serve as
notification that you or your organization owns property which is included in this program.
The Public Works Administration, Urban Forestry Division will be conducting site inspections to
determine compliance with city's Land Development Code, Sections 42.278nd /or 42.33. If the initial
inspection finds the site in compliance, no further action will be taken. However, if the site is found to be
in non - compliance, you will be given an opportunity to bring the site into compliance. Failure to do so will
result in a notice of violation being issued to the present owner or owners. The violation will explain the
code(s) violated, nature of the violations and required correction date. Failure to correct the listed
violations by the date indicated will result in legal action by the Municipal Code Enforcement Board of the
City of Clearwater. (sec. 162.06 (2) F.S).
This program is intended to improve the appearance of off -street parking lots and other vehicular use
areas, to protect and preserve the appearance and value of the surrounding neighborhoods, to improve
the urban and natural environment and the promote the general welfare through the installation of
landscaping, screening, and aesthetic effects.

Dear Mr, Navaroli
This is to request an exemption from S.W.F.W.M.D. permitting to perform minor
improvements to an existing development known as Kotakis Auto Body Shop, located at
1141 Court Street, Clearwater.
Attached please find five (5) sets of plans and an itemised quantitative list of pervious
vs. impervious areas (exhibit "A "), for your review.
The proposed transformation. basically comprise of the reduction of existing impervious
parking and building areas, the reconfiguration of parking facilities and the construction of
two _concrete block structures. Reconfiguration of parking area is primarily for cosmetic
purposes and to avoid the removal and/or damage to an existing 34 inch Oak tree.
The concrete block structures are proposed within limits of the existing impervious
parking area resulting in no net increase of.,onsite runoff and an overall reduction of
pollutant loading.
The subject property is presently self contained with. an existing six foot (6 ft.) masonry
brick wall to the South and West,. a driveway to the East and a grassed area to the North.
The direction of runoff In the existing condition drains towards the grassed area (i.e. to
the North) and will remain as such in the proposed condition.
Based on the information presented herein, we kindly request that you grant us a Ietter
of exemption from S.W.F.W.M.D. permitting for performing the proposed minor
improvements as shown in the attached plans.
