The City of Clearwater Planning Department has done an inspection at the above address and has found
the property is in violation of the following City code:
Section of City Code violated: 3- 12041. Facts behind violation: ""DEAD, DECLINING, MISSING AND
DISEASED PLANT MATERIAL'k' shall be replaced with healthy material of similar type in keeping with the
landscaping requirements at the time of original planting and in accordance with the approved landscape
plan.
Specifically, To be compliant with Section 3 -1204 you must Install 1 Florida Grade #1 Laurel
oak at the Pegasus entrance. Install 1 Florida Grade #1 Weeping Bottle Brush near retention
pond. Install Glossy Privet hedge around trash enclosure and along North perimeter of
property. Replace4 missing and dead Ligustrum bushes in the hedge along Pegasus and
Gulf to Bay Blvd. Replace missing Shore Juniper and Asparagus Fern around sign on Gulf
to Bay Blvd. Mulch any and all landscaping beds on the property according to Section
3 -1204 Part B.
No further action is required on your part if the violation is corrected by August 22, 2008.

The City of Clearwater has initiated a landscape reinspection program which will affect all sites with
approved landscape plans filed with the City of Clearwater. This courtesy letter is to serve as
notification that you or your organization owns property which is included in this program.
The Public Works Administration, Urban Forestry Division will be conducting site inspections to
determine compliance with city's Land Development Code, Sections 42.27and /or 42.33. If the initial
inspection finds the site in compliance, no further action will be taken. However, if the site is found. to be
in non - compliance, you will be given an opportunity to bring the site into compliance. Failure to do' so will
result in a notice of violation being issued to the present owner or owners. The violation will explain the
code(s) violated, nature of the violations and required correction date. Failure to correct the listed
violations by the date indicated will result in legal action by the Municipal Code Enforcement Board of the
City of Clearwater. (sec. 162.06 (2) F.S).
This program is intended to improve the appearance of off - street parking lots and other vehicular use
areas, to protect and preserve the appearance and value of the surrounding neighborhoods, to improve
the urban and natural environment and the promote the general welfare through the installation of
landscaping, screening, and aesthetic effects.

REQUIREMENTS:LANDSCAPE: WARNING, continued topping of trees will
result in the issuance of a Notice of Violation which can result
in a fine and /or tree replacements. City code prohibits the
topping of all protected trees.
STORMWATER: Remove the sediment build from the inlet pipe, catch
basin and pond bottom to elevation 59.51. It appears the
existing elevation is as high as 1 foot above the design
elevation in some locations.
COMPLIANCE DATE: 07/21/1997
RECOMMENDATIONS:Request an on site meeting for a detailed
explanation of the requirements.
The property owner to the north has tied there roof drains into
your retention pond, this might have an impact on your property
during a major storm event.
To insure compliance, a reinspection of the site will be
conducted after the above compliance date. Failure to correct
the requirements by the compliance date will result in the
issuance of a "NOTICE OF VIOLATION".
