AGREEMENT FOR PURCHASE AND SALE
OF EASEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this o'l 0 ~ day of

I+e.co~~bcr, A. D. 198+', by and between ST. JAMES AME CHURCH, a Florida
non-profit corporation, hereinafter referred to as Seller, and the CITY OF
CLEARWA TER, FLORIDA, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred
to as Purchaser;
WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants herein
contained and other valuable considerations passing between the parties
hereto, the Seller agrees to sell and the Purchaser agrees to buy the following
described easement situate, lying and being in Pinellas County, Florida, to wit:
Begin at the NE corner of the SW 1/4 of Section 22, Township
29 South, Range 15 East and run thence N 89011'22" W, along
the East and West centerline of said Section 22, 685.64 feet;
thence S 0021117" E, along the West right-of-way line of South
Madison Avenue, 396.28 feet to the SE corner of Alfred Ennis
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 19, page 75 of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida, for the P. O. B. ; run
thence N 8901315211 W, along the South right-of-way line of
Queen Street, 160.00 feet; thence S 0021'17" E, 15.00 feet;
thence N 86057'02" E, 75.07 feet; thence S 89013'52" E,
85.00 feet to a point on the West right-of-way line of South
Madison Avenue; thence N 0021117" W, 10.00 feet to the P. O. B.
This easement being for right-of-way purposes and the City
of Clearwater shall have the right to enter upon said property
and to construct, install and maintain thereon any right-of-way
and to inspect and alter such right-of-way from time to time.
The total purchase price of said property shall be the sum of
One Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($1,800.00), payable in full upon closing,
which shall be on or before ninety (90) days from date hereof at the office of
the City Attorney, Clearwater City Hall, 112 S. Osceola Avenue, Clearwater,
Florida.
IN CONSIDERATION WHEREOF, Seller agrees to execute an
Easement to said Purchaser, free and clear of all encumbrances of record.

Both parties agree that neither have used the services of areal
estate broker in this transaction and no brokerage fee is due anyone.
The obligations and benefits under this contract shall extend to the
personal representatives, heirs, successors and assigns of the parties
hereto.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have set their hands and
seals the day and year first above written.
